Two well deserved blue belts were earned last night, Tuesday, August 17, at Five Rings Jiu Jitsu in Portland, Oregon. Nick Marvin and Preston Bauder, both originally starting their Jiu Jitsu careers as a part of the Portland State University Jiu Jitsu class, reached a landmark in learning ... achieving the rank of blue belt.

Both guys are GREAT training partners, are growing their games at an amazing pace, and aren't afraid to put themselves out there on the grappling mat.

Preston is returning back to the University of Hawaii at the end of this week while Nick is still at Portland State University. Both guys have a bright future (both acedemically and in terms of Jiu Jitsu) in front of them.

It was a super night of rolling and celebration. Both Preston and Nick of much to be proud of. CONGRATS! ! !
